Our client is an architectural company with headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The client is highly experienced in interior/exterior designs, BIM/Revit design, 3D visualization, and architectural space planning. With a dynamic team of architects and civil engineers, our client has developed several beautiful structures for many reputed companies across the world. For over 30 years, the client has been creating inspiring solutions for their customers with a special inclination towards sustainability and green energy modeling.
The client contacted eLogicTech for one of their high-value renovation projects. Their requirement was for the Revit family modeling of the interior elements including the furniture, lighting fixtures and the exterior structures as a whole. There were 218 structural units in the construction and the client wanted our team to model for them all with consistency.
Though having worked on several Revit modeling projects, eLogicTech's team was adept to address the challenges in all forms, the following asks by the client slowed the project progress significantly:
After receiving the SketchUp models, concept sketches in PDF, and the reference images, the requirements, and scope was discussed in detail with the client.
Once, everything was finalized, a three-member team started working on the project. Autodesk Revit, SketchUp, and PDF Viewer software were utilized during the course of this project.
The exterior models were developed in Revit first and after finalizing the exterior shell, the interiors were then modeled.
Multi-level QC was done to ensure the quality and consistency among the interior components which was specifically asked by the client.
The minor design changes from the client were addressed and the final Revit files were sent to the client through FTP.
eLogicTech team's understanding of the design intent behind the proposed designs and proactive suggestions to make them more sustainable were the true takeaways for the client. Also, the client expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the deliverables, the timeliness, and 24/7 open communication channel. At the eLogicTech's part, the project is running for more than three years now and our engineering team has been able to build a mutually beneficial working relationship with the client.
