Lead Draftsman
Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Draftsman or Principal Draftsman to join our dynamic team.
- As a key member of our drafting department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of draftsmen, ensuring the production of accurate and high-quality technical drawings.
- In this role, you will not only contribute directly to the drafting process but also play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the drafting team.
- Your expertise in drafting, leadership skills, and ability to drive efficiency and excellence in drafting operations will be instrumental in the success of our projects.
Qualification:
- Proven experience as a Lead Draftsman.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Extensive proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems, components, and symbols.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to design and drafting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
- Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Knowledge of construction processes and the ability to adapt designs to practical considerations.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using AutoCAD and other relevant drafting tools.
- Proven track record of successfully translating electrical designs into accurate technical drawings.
- Experience working on [specific types of projects, if applicable].
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, with a commitment to staying updated on changes.
